Earlier this year, I found myself getting further and further wrapped up in the old fashion luxury of hosting. I got lost in table settings, fabrics, and finishes and through that rabbit hole found my way back to George Venson, a wallpaper designer from Texas and Creative Director of Voutsa. Together, we went through the Voutsa and Brandon Maxwell archives to create a palette of patterns rather than my normal monochromes. We gravitated toward their signature florals, trompe l’oeil Audrey Dots, and their iconic Lips, but expanded them by adding new color variations, and commissioned new tiger and zebra stripes as well.
Today, we present to you our Pre-Spring ‘22 collection starring both Jourdan Dunn and Lara Stone, both mothers, and artists I admire, who agreed to take my first all patterned collection out of doors. Amongst the British wildflowers, my interior- inspired garments seemed to return to their natural habitat frolicking around in front of Venetia Scott’s lens.
