Signature crepes, ribbed knits, striped sequins and beaded denims were a few of the many fabrications that graced the Fall-Winter 2018 Runway Show staged at the Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center. A panoramic landscape of New York City was the back-drop for the intimate theatre that bathed guests in lights of pink and blue— the scene was one of confident juxtaposition, a tone that was mirrored in the ensembles. There were boucle knit trousers paired with satin draped tops, pineapple beaded embroidered skirts paired with poppy and rose shearling jackets and a hooded knit paired with a ball skirt of layered, beaded tulle closed the show.
