The Spring Summer 2019 collection, dedicated and designed in Texas, was an homage to Brandon's roots. To kick off the event, guests received invitations courtesy of the Texas-based brand, Lucchese, who gave a pair of cowboy boots with event details and artwork by Jules Buck Jones engraved on the sole. The show took place the evening of September 8, 2018 at The Classic Car Club in Manhattan. Guests were invited to arrive 30 minutes ahead of the show to enjoy Shake Shack burgers and drinks provided by Shiner Beer, Tito’s Vodka, Nine Banded Whiskey and Richard’s Rainwater, all Texas-based beverage brands. Upon arrival into the cavernous venue, guests were immediately transported into a fantastical and welcoming tailgate set designed by Marla Weinhoff.
The collection began it’s show with a stampede of pink looks, outfitted by stylist George Cortina. Cortina's styling expertise helped the collection reach its full artistic potential by mixing fun textures such as lizard printed jacquard and luxe knits with bright pops of unexpected color. Make-up artist Tom Pecheux for MAC Cosmetics created a natural eye accompanied by a pop of blush and lip, all from Brandon's limited edition SS19 collection for MAC Cosmetics. Hair stylist James Pecis for Oribe mixed up the hair styles between a straight, yet voluptuous look and slicked back low buns that incorporated the SS19 “B”corkscrew. Rita Remark for Essie nails painted a natural ballet pink nail which complimented the clear hat boxes donned by many of the models. Creative movement director Stephen Galloway worked to bring rhythm and flow to the runway as the models boldly strutted down the runway. During the finale, models and the women who helped create the collection lined up along the Texas flag backdrop as Brandon and his grandmother entered the runway, concluding the show.
